COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) – IMPORTANT INFORMATION
In these unprecedented times we have two goals in mind. Firstly, we wish to help our patients navigate safely through the pandemic and aid in their treatment if needed. Secondly, we wish to continue to manage everyday health conditions to a high standard. We encourage our patients to continue to address these other needs to prevent delay in diagnosis and treatment.
Change of operating hours
Please note our amended opening hours on this website. During the COVID-19 pandemic, doors close at 5:30pm to allow for telehealth consultations through to closing time. Incoming phones lines will be switched off at 6:30pm.
Services have been adjusted to appointment only on Saturday and we will not be able to offer Sunday services. We apologise for any inconvenience and are adapting to changing conditions at short notice.
Telephone consultations available to all patients
Patients may be offered a Telehealth (over the phone) appointment. Except on Saturdays there is no fee for this service. Please note that this form of consultation has its limits, and if deemed necessary you may be directed to attend the clinic for a face-to-face appointment.
The safety of our patients and the clinic staff are paramount. Please note the following protocols which will be in place in order to maximise safety for all:
Respiratory symptoms (eg. Fever, cough, sore throat)
You will be asked to make a telehealth appointment. Based on the information you give to your doctor he/she may request you to attend for a physical examination and/or swab. Instructions will be given over the telephone on how this will occur. This examination will be performed in our off-site assessment clinic.
We will be performing a quick forehead temperature scan on arrival to the clinic for all patients prior to being seated. Please sanitise your hands and once in the waiting area please observe social distancing protocols. Standard and enhanced infection control measures are in place. Payment by contact-less card payment is preferred.
Thank you for your patience and understanding in these difficult times. Please check back here for updates. (last update 22/4/2020)
